DIRECT CARE

We are in need of a warm caring person with experience as any of the following: companion, home health aide, CNA, PCT, Direct Care or relevance to care taking position to work:
All care taking experience is welcome. Three years of experience required

Group home, ALF, long term care facility experience welcome.

Duties: caretaker/ direct care worker
Ensure proper hygiene, Assisting with medication, preparing meals, ensuring the residence is clean, grooming, outings in the community, doctor appointments, res hab skills, living skills, companion, activities with clients. In a group home setting and other duties as needed.

NO LIFTING, NO BATHING, NO FEEDING, NO DRESSING NEEDED, HIGH FUNCTIONING CLIENTS

Must pass a background check
HAVE A DRIVER LICENSE

WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE AN EXPERIENCED LEAD STAFF FULL TIME

ONCE YOU HAVE ESTABLISHED YOU ARE ADEQUATE AS A LEAD STAFF, THEN IN 6 MONTHS YOU WILL BE PROMOTED TO SUPERVISOR WITH A PAY INCREASE.

YOU WILL BE ON CALL AND NEED TO REPORT FOR EMERGENCIES. INSPECTIONS AND SHIFT SHORTAGES.

MUST BE HANDS ON

IN A SMALL RESIDENTIAL CARE FACILITY SETTING.
GROUP HOME (APD PREFERRED) OR ALF EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (FOUR YEARS OF EXPERIANCE REQUIRED)

MUST HAVE GROUP HOME LEAD/SUPERVISION EXPERIENCE OR HEALTHCARE SUPERVISION SKILLS

Ensuring residents are scheduled for their appointments in a timely fashion

Ensuring Medications are on hand as well as ordering medications

Ensure proper inspection of the business to state standards. Address as needed

Preparation of state inspections

Preparation of monthly monitoring

Meetings with state officials and others in reference to the residents (could call for driving to locations)

Ensure proper documentation of residents

Generate Quarterly Reports for residents via computer (word)

Ensuring resident files are documented daily

Generate resident financial report

Ensuring forms are on hand

Computer savvy, knowledge of scanning documents, creating files on the computer, emailing and attaching documents making copies

To include any and all things that are required to ensure a fully state complied company.

 

In-services are required for the position and a Level 2 background clearance.

 

You will be using third party software to ensure the business is up to state standards.'
